MOH AP exam Requirements for General Dentist

To apply as General Dentist for Ministry of Health And Prevention (MOH AP) exam, one should;

  • Have successfully completed 5 year's dental degree (i.e. BDS, DDS, DMD or its equivalent) from a recognized dental school listed on Avicenna database (formerly WHO directory of medical & dental schools).
  • Have registration and practice license from their home country, as IMG (International Medical Graduate) non UAE .
  • Have atleast 2 (Two) years clinical experience after housejob / internship.
MOH AP exam Requirements for Specialist and Consultant

To apply as specialist or consultant for Ministry of Health And Prevention (MOH AP) exam, one should;

  • Have graduated from a recognized dental school listed on Avicenna database (formerly WHO directory of medical & dental schools).
  • Have completed recognized post graduation certificate of dental specialization, comprising of minimum 2 (two) years duration as per recognized specialty certificates. But for some specialties, requirements may vary.
  • Have registration and valid medical practice license from his/her home country or country of last employment.
  • Have no interruption in clinical practice for more than 2 years. Based upon clinical experience, candidate is allocated to different tiers.
MOH AP exam documents requirement for Dentists

Candidate must provide the following scanned documents for initial processing.

  • 5 year's dental degree (i.e. BDS, DDS, DMD or its equivalent) from a recognized dental institution.
  • Internship certificate.
  • Recognized Specialty certificate (if applying for specialist/consultant title).
  • Valid practice license in country of graduation and/or country of last employment.
  • Evidence of all clinical experience or certificate(s) issued by the facility of practice and signed by the Human Resources Department, or Medical Director.
  • Recent Good Standing Certificate (GSC) issued by the dental council/association from the country of last employment (Certificates are only valid for six (6) months from date of issue).
  • Log book (for dental surgical specialties only).
  • Valid passport copy.
  • One (1) colored passport photograph.
  • Medical fitness test for candidates having 65 years of age or above
MOH AP exam general guidelines

The applicant should consider the following while filling the application to avoid any delay in the licensure process or application rejection:

  • Name should be exactly like the passport.
  • Upload all documents 'JPEG/PDF format only' in the required fields.
  • Name the scanned documents according to the certificate. For example: Passport, Picture, Experience (Kindly do not give numbers to the documents such as 1, 2, 3 etc).
  • In case if Dataflow PSV (Primary Source Verification) was done: a receipt or report must be uploaded.

Kindly note, that failure to provide the required documents after 3 attempts will result in application rejection.
