What is a tutoring proposal? How to send it? Do’s & Don’ts?

A tutoring proposal targets all the requirements raised into received connect request message from any student. Make sure that you have understood student’s requirements before creating this proposal. Once sent, if your potential student agree with your proposal then he/she may enroll into your proposed course and you will be intimated accordingly by DocExams. Kindly understand that your course proposal will be considered final, no back and forth negotiations will be made with student. Therefore, you should create your proposal very carefully.

You can only send your proposal for any specific connect request from your tutor dashboard.

  1. Login to your tutor dashboard.
  2. Click at ‘My Request(s)’ tab in the menu. On this page, click at ‘Send Proposal’ link for any connect request.
  3. Kindly fill out all required details at ‘My Proposal’ page and click at send button.

Do’s:

  1. Make sure that you have understood student’s requirement before writing your proposal.
  2. Clearly define the information such as;
    1. Timing and days, keeping in view your availability throughout the course/tuition.
    2. Tuition fee and if there is any discount you offer.
    3. Course contents (clearly mentioning each topic name) should be defined and an expected credit hour for each topic should also be defined.
    4. Define any other detail, student should know before registering for your proposed course/tuition.

Don’ts:

  1. Do not include any of your contact details (i.e. phone, email etc.) in your tutoring proposal, because your proposal is screened by our system before sending it to the targeted student. Any suspected proposal may be manually verified by DocExams staff. Any such activity will cancel your sent tutoring proposal and may even cause to terminate your registration at DocExams.
  2. Do not include any such promises you cannot fulfill.

Please note: You don’t necessarily need to respond to every connect request you feel that you cannot fulfill but this tendency can affect your ranking at DocExams.
