Good Standing Certificate (GSC) is issued by the medical/ dental council/ health regulatory body from where your previous license has been issued which confirms that the concerned candidate has practiced successfully. Dubai Health Authority (DHA) requires applying Physicians, Dentists, Nurses and other Allied Health Professionals to provide a valid and not older than six months good standing certificate.

A Good Standing Certificate / Current status will ensure that the healthcare professional has his/her status confirmed and therefore has been able to deliver safe and quality healthcare services up to date of document issuance. This document is not substitute for Police clearance or any court issues related to the professional himself/herself (criminal legal or labor disputes beyond DHA).
